Trump wants to devide the EU!
I haven't seen much fuss about it yet, but that idiotic rat Trump is busy ramping up his war against the EU and, in fact, all of Europe. Besides his threat to impose higher import tariffs (which is prohibited by his own Constitutional Court), he also wants to sow division within the EU.
In his National Security Strategy, he already rails against the EU, which, according to him, should become much more (extremely) right-wing, but what's not mentioned in the public document is that he's also trying to persuade four countries to break away from the EU: Hungary, Austria, Poland, and Italy. He promises these countries more American troops, more economic aid, and more bilateral deals.
Now we know that Trump's promises are worthless, but the very idea is worthless. He's also threatening higher import tariffs (50%) if we don't listen to him, while we know that his Constitutional Court has prohibited him from imposing tariffs; only Congress can do that, and he's lost control of that Congress long ago.
Orbán must have been bucking his leg. But it's certainly an idiotic attempt to drive a wedge into European cooperation. I consider it essentially a declaration of war, and along with all the other atrocities the Trump regime is committing, enough to impeach him and send him, along with a large part of his administration, to jail.
Perhaps we, in turn, can persuade California, America's richest state, to join Canada and us. Their Governor Newsom is already considering breaking away from the USA and joining Canada, along with about four other states.
And Canada has already signed up for SAFE (Security Action for Europe), a new EU financial instrument for funding joint defense efforts.

Ik heb er nog niet veel ophef over gezien, maar de idiote rat Trump is druk bezig zijn oorlog tegen de EU en eigenlijk heel Europa op te voeren. Naast zijn dreiging om hogere importheffingen op te leggen (wat door zijn eigen constitutionele hof verboden is), wil hij ook verdeeldheid zaaien binnen de EU.
In zijn National Security Strategy fulmineert hij al tegen de EU, dat volgens hem veel (extreem) rechtser moet worden, maar wat niet in het publieke document staat is dat hij ook probeert om 4 landen over te halen om zich los te maken van de EU. Dat zijn Hongarije, Oostenrijk, Polen en Italië. Hij belooft die landen meer Amerikaanse troepen, meer economische steun en meer bilaterale deals.
Nu weten we dat de beloften van Trump geen drol waard zijn, maar alleen het idee al. Hij dreigt daarnaast ook met hogere importtarieven (50%) als we niet naar hem luisteren, terwijl we weten dat zijn constitionele hof hem heeft verboden tarieven op te leggen; alleen het Congres kan dat en dat Congres heeft hij al lang niet meer in de hand.
Orban zal er wel een steigerend lichaamsdeel van hebben gekregen. Maar het is natuurlijk een idiote poging om een wig te drijven in de Europese samenwerking. Ik vind het feitelijk een oorlogsverklaring en tezamen met alle andere wandaden die het regime Trump uithaalt voldoende om hem te impeachen en met een groot deel van zijn Administratie de nor in te janken.
Misschien kunnen wij op onze beurt Californië, de rijkste staat van Amerika wel overhalen om zich bij Canada en ons te voegen. Hun gouverneur Newsom denkt er toch al over om zich los te weken van de USA en zich aan te sluiten bij Canada. Met nog een stuk of 4 staten.
